BRIGHTON BUZZ The Brighton Print Fair – the never-been-done-before art event

Want something special for your walls? Want it to say something about you? A beautifully designed print could be the affordable answer.
I will definitely be going to Brighton Print Fair. It is taking place because the annual Brighton Art Fair isn’t going to happen this year due to the renovation of the Brighton Dome, Corn Exchange. The organisors have taken the opportunity to look at new ideas and the Brighton Print Fair is the result.
It is a 10-day exhibition running from this Friday, September 15 to Sunday September 24 celebrating printmakers and printmaking in its many forms. Running from this Friday, September 15 to Sunday September 24 , the main gallery at the Phoenix will host the selling fair, with the entire space being hung with unframed prints produced by 60 artists.

The rest of the venue will be used for printmaking classes, talks, demonstration, one-day specials, a 20th Century printmakers exhibition plus an in-house framer and a café…

A true celebration of print AND entry to the Fair is free.

Phoenix Brighton is part of the University of Brighton and is about five minutes walk from Brighton Station (down hill all the way). It is also on numerous bus routes and is just by The Level. You can find out more from Brighton Art Fair
