Pop Up Pottery in a Pub
6.30 pm – 10 pm
You can throw a pot on a wheel, design a tile, or paint a mug. The portable pottery class is at The North Laine Pub, 27 Gloucester Place on the eastern edge of the North Laine area, a short walk from Brighton station. It’s a big pub and a micro brewery serving good food..

Learn how to make a vintage style headdress using fresh flowers.
7pm – 8.30 pm
You will be taught about seasonal flowers and the techniques to make your own headdress. Dress up in vintage fashion (if you like), listen to vintage music at the Mesmerist Bar in Prince Albert Street in The Lanes, Brighton (near Brighton Town Hall).

The workshop is run by Katie Kearns, owner of Flower Show Presents, and includes all flowers and materials.

After witnessing the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon hide from gangsters by becoming Josephine and Daphne, female jazz musicans. They flee to Florida where they fall in love with Sugar Kane, played by Marilyn Monroe. It’s impossible to see it too often and it still has one of the best closing comedy scenes ever filmed.
